Pandas Brand Concept
Tasked with designing a logo based on an action and an animal, I developed two main marks based on the two words: Sliding Panda. I decided to take this in an athletic brand direction, complete with marks, colors, and custom typeface. The addition of the ‘Sliding’ verb automatically made me think of baseball and allowed that to be a driving factor in the designing of the logo.

Adnap Serif
Adnap Serif is a custom typeface, built to invoke the the powerful and bold presence of the panda. The curves and hard edges found within the font represent the stark contrast that is found in a pandas fur color, and the highly stylized serif taken from the bottom left corner of the head logo variation, takes cues from the stylization of drawn Chinese symbols.
